Time, love, and randomness

1. Victor Wooten doing Amazing Grace. Wooten is quite possibly the premier bassist today, and I was lucky enough to see him with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones a few years back when they played at DaVinci Days. 2. There’s going to be a Star Trek prequel! Squeee! Yes, I know it’s just an excuse to keep the franchise going, but who cares as long as it’s fun? Oh, and it isn’t on imdb.com yet, but Variety says that Zoe Saldana is going to play Uhuru. (hat tip to I Watch Stuff)
3. For those of you who would like to read some of the classics but don’t feel you have the time, try DailyLit. They send you a little of the book at a time via email or RSS. You can specify what day/s and time you want the email, which is rather nice, and when you look through their catalog it tells you how many installments the book will be. I’ve just started Notes From Underground (51 installments).
